Our Story
Cornerstone Insurance Group was founded in 2013 by Cole Kaur, who started out working directly with a handful of clients and grew the firm by referral, one satisfied relationship at a time. That approach has not changed: most new clients still come from an existing client who told a colleague about their experience with us.
Growth has changed the size of the team, not the standard it works to. Every new advisor trains under someone senior before taking on clients independently, and the bar for accuracy and follow-through applies to every engagement equally.
Ann Arbor, MI is home base, and most of our client relationships start within a short drive of the office. That local focus keeps response times fast and our read on the local market honest.
